So, how was your day? I'm currently off sick. Day 3 of procrastinating on the sofa wishing to be better! That's why I had the time to set this place up. As I built the boards I realised this is going to be a mammoth task to do on my own so I hope you feel free to contribute.

I'm trying to promote the site through generous friend sharing on facebook and adding little links to boards I've written on. If you think anyone you know might find this site useful please mention it to them and share the link with them.

Happy times. The pshe governor congratulated me on the charterd teacher award today. Apparently it was announced in the governors meeting.

Wednesday saw another trip to the house of lords. This time a meeting with one peer regarding relationships ed in schools. It was interesting to hear his ideas and contribute my own. My head teacher came and she is awe inspiring! So much experience and knowledge. I'm back there in a month to meet him and 2 baronesses. It's amazing to be asked. We've also got our local mp and pshe CEO visiting in march. Its a busy time for us!

Just been to Tuscany for a week and highly recommend it if you like driving about exploring mountains, beaches, cities and hamlets, towers, history, churches, cathedrals, medieval and Etruscan stuff and Italian food.

I've been nominated to Ho on the advisory council for the page association. I'll find out in a while if I'm accepted. That's nice!

Hi all, It has been a busy start to the term. So much so that I missed the spamming about kitchens! So please ignore...unless you fancy a new kitchen of course!
This Friday sees Baroness Massey visit the school after chairing an APPG meeting that we were invited to. Later on this month The 2 leads for PSHE from the DFE visit to find out as much as they can about PSHE. That will be fun. Ive also been put forward for a DFE video of me teaching, so we will see what comes of that.
I'm piloting an economic ed scheme that I have built up from the PFEG resources and Derbyshire county healthy schools schemes. This seems to be going well. I have also consulted the children prior to creating the scheme to see what they know and what they think they know.
So - anyone care to share whats going on PSHE wise with them?
