I'm struggling against a tide of staff with better things to do than teach pshe. Many people I've chatted to see pshe as what we do incidently. They see little skills to he taught in pshe. I've been explaining the need for discrete teaching of actual skills but I find many staff Arnt actually engaging with the skills in our mtps.
Bar speaking to everyone individually and encouraging them to actually see these skills exist and need to be taught before children can use them outside of the lesson what do you think I can do?
How do I quickly inspire a range of people to engage with taught, planned pshe?

Well I must say someispiration seems to have come from observing me.I guess its just another way of seeing pshe when you watch someone else. Iwould wholeheartedly advocate it if you feel confident enough to do so.

It also lets other staff see pshe isnt just circle time. It is a lesson, with objectives and skills and understanding to be taught.

I guess the main bit pf information I can give someone struggling with pshe acceptance in school is stick to your guns. Rally support from your head teacher and look at ofsteds outstanding pshe subject inspections to show what is expected in pshe.
