You need to pick something that can track learning and is not time consuming. Simples......
Not! Any additional grid or tick sheet or electronic tracker will produce moans from staff. 'Not another form to fill ink!' They'll cry.
Also, will they engage in real thoughtful, evidenced assessment of their children or just pop in a best fit?
End of units assessments maybe?....a shorter bunch of skills, fresh in the teachers mind, hand them out last week of term and copy them for yourself to keep at the end? Time consuming for you.....
What's the answer?

It's an ever evolving life we live in.
In discussions with others, due to the very unlevelled nature of pshe, I'm leaning towards excellent in lesson assessment, involving children's views as well as teacher judgements.
This requires thoughtful preplanning on what is going to yield the most open views from/of the children's knowledge and understanding.
In this way next sessions can be planned, questions to further thinking skills and skill application can be asked and interventions can be managed.
This isn't a pick up and run lesson brief though with a tick or cross at the end for assessment. This requires engaging with your children. Consideration of their needs and how to progress them. To foster this attention to detail in others may be difficult!
Not if you love pshe though!
