Ive noticed through informal chats that there is a huge range of ability and understanding in PSHE in the school Im in.
Loads of scared teachers, lots of poor subject knowledge, lots of people with a basic understanding of teaching pshe but no real time dedicated to differentiating, considering responses etc.
If you dont audit I think little chats here and there are the way forward.
Do the same with the children,2 from each class will answer you honestly.

Here is a range of questions that should glean info from the kids.
Do you like pshe? Straight away that will tell you if they know what it is. What are you learning about in pshe? This will let you know if the unit/sessions stand out to them. And if staff are teaching what you think they are. Do you think you do a lot of pshe? This will tell you how regularly they are taught it. How could your teacher make it even better for you? Should unearth things that Arnt happening. And the children's interests.
Simple but effective. I'll find my questionnaire and write the other questions I ask.
